Objective: Pick a book, design and layout a portion of the book using InDesign, and then focus on using typography to convey emotion through selected quotes.


Why: I chose analog methods of distorting, degrading, and altering type to reflect the main character (Gregor Samsa's) feelings of anguish and isolation throughout the story. I also took an analog approach to my cover illustration and used watercolor.
